We’re excited to share that our Solicitor Director Michael Seton, has been recognised on the national stage at the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards. Michael took home the Mentor of the Year award as well as the coveted Excellence Award—the top honour of the night. These awards are highly competitive, receiving thousands of entries each year, and Michael’s win not only celebrates his leadership but shines a bright light on the talent and commitment found right here on the Central Coast.
Michael’s approach to mentorship goes beyond sharing legal knowledge. He’s been open about the personal experiences that shaped his leadership, leading to the creation of the Ironbark Initiative—a wellbeing program designed to address the unique mental health challenges faced by legal professionals. This initiative offers subsidies for therapy, paid time for volunteering, and creative pursuits to foster genuine wellbeing and family connection. Michael’s recognition is a testament to his commitment to reshaping the profession with values of care, purpose, and resilience, embodied by the entire Seton Family Lawyers team.
